Assistant Branch Manager
Job Description
Provides support to the Branch Manager by managing branch operations, and by working to promote an aggressive sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of the branch business plan and goals
- Responds to new business opportunities
- Assists in the development of subordinate staff, including coaching, conducting performance reviews and providing guidance, training and direction to implement plans and objectives
- Builds strong customer relationships, applies advanced customer service skills, and effectively cross-sells the Bank’s portfolio of products
- Manages the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager, which includes covering extended operating hours
- Completes sales tracking reports and monthly overdraft reports
- Manages safe deposit box function
- Ensures that proper procedures are in place to guarantee all new account documentation is complete and accurate
- Ensures accurate and complete wire transfer policies and procedures are in place
Requirements
- Associates Degree preferred
- 3-5 years experience in customer service and bank sales
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong computer skills
