William S. Barnhart Joins Fairfield County Bank

November 10, 2006 - William S. Barnhart has joined Fairfield County Bank as Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender with responsibility for new business development in Fairfield, Litchfield and New Haven counties.  He has held similar positions at NewMil Bank and CityTrust in Danbury.  Mr. Barnhart is actively involved in the community and currently serves as Co-Chairman of the Good Scout Council, is a member of the Sons of Italy, Amerigo Vespucci Lodge in Danbury and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity.  His past community involvement has included serving as Co-Chairman of the Housatonic/Shepaug United Way, volunteering for the United Way of Northern Fairfield County and member of the New Milford Lions Club. A graduate of Western Connecticut State University with a B.B.A., Mr. Barnhart also graduated from the New England School of Banking at Williams College.  He resides in Danbury with his wife, Jeannie and daughter, Alyssa.  Mr. Barnhart is currently located at the Bank’s Ridgefield office at 150 Danbury Road and can be reached at 203-431-7461.
