Coin Drive Benefits Stamford Counseling Center

Manager of Fairfield County Bank’s Darien Office, presents a check
for $3,500 to (Left) Rev. Dr. William B. Matthews, Executive
Director of the Stamford Counseling Center. Also pictured from the
Center is Robert Semsel, Vice Chairman, Board of Trustees. The
bank’s Darien office at 1899 Post Road recently held a charity coin
drive to benefit the Stamford Counseling Center. The donated change
was matched by the bank.
The Stamford Counseling Center, located at One Walton Place in
Stamford, serves Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan and Stamford. It has
been part of the Fairfield County community for over three decades
and operates as a non-profit independent organization. The Center
offers low cost therapy and consultation services to those who may
not otherwise be able to afford it. Support comes from a variety of
sources including congregations, corporations and foundations. Rev.
Dr. Matthews is a Pastoral Psychotherapist who counsels individuals,
couples, groups and families. The therapists and staff are extremely
