FAIRFIELD COUNTY BANK APPOINTS GEORGE BOSSIS TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT RETAIL LENDING

 

Ridgefield, CT – March 15, 2016: George Bossis was recently appointed as Executive Vice President of Retail Lending at Fairfield County Bank. Mr. Bossis will be responsible for the continuing development and growth of the residential and consumer lending business at the Bank. He will oversee the sales force, processing, underwriting, and secondary market sales and servicing.

“George’s extensive experience within the mortgage industry and risk management demonstrates that he is well suited to create and implement new residential lending strategies and activities to support our continued growth as a leading residential lender," said Dan Berta, President of Fairfield County Bank.

Before his appointment at the Bank, Mr. Bossis served as Apple Bank’s Senior Vice President of Residential Lending. He previously held a position at Merrill Lynch as their Vice President of Risk Management.

George is a graduate of the University at Albany receiving a bachelor’s degree in Economics and earned his MBA in Finance and Investments from Baruch College. He is a current member of the Hellenic American Bankers Association and was past President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of New York. George currently resides in Ridgefield, CT with his wife and two sons.
