Jim joined Fairfield County Bank in 2017, bringing with him the extensive knowledge from a career spanning portfolio management, private accounting, credit analysis, and commercial lending. Mr. Whetzel currently operates out of Fairfield County Bank’s 150 Danbury Road Office.

Mr. Whetzel’s top priority is to wholly understand his clients’ individual needs. He is a committed partner that will act as an advocate to ensure each unique scenario is met with a comprehensive financial solution. Jim's clients know they can depend on the expertise he has developed throughout his career and that his guidance is in their best interest.
Community Involvement
An avid runner, Jim participates yearly in Ann’s Place Run From the Sun 5k and organizes the Bank’s team, which has ranked first in fundraising dollars three years running. Mr. Whetzel is passionate about the work that Ann’s Place offers patients with cancer and their families as well as making an impact in the greater Danbury community.
Outside of Work
Jim was born and raised in Fairfield County, where he currently resides with his wife. Away from the office, he is an accomplished golfer and enjoys spending time out on the water with friends and family.
