Tanya Parker, Vice President, Compliance Officer, Named 2025 New Leader in Banking by Connecticut Bankers Association
Ridgefield, CT—November 07, 2025: Fairfield County Bank is proud to announce that Tanya Parker, Vice President, Compliance Officer, recently received the 2025 New Leaders in Banking award from the Connecticut Bankers Association. This prestigious award recognizes an up-and-coming class of noteworthy bankers across the state who have made significant contributions to their organization.

Honorees who demonstrated exemplary leadership within their bank and community were selected by an independent panel of judges. The recipients were honored at the New Leaders Awards Ceremony at Mohegan Sun on October 09, during which each was asked to speak about their leadership journey in banking. Ms. Parker highlighted the collaborative efforts of her team in Risk & Compliance and the many stops across Fairfield County Bank she made on her way to her current role.
Ms. Parker started her career at the Bank in 2009 in Retail Banking, spending time in Loan Servicing and Commercial Lending throughout her tenure before her most recent promotion to Vice President, Compliance Officer as a part of the Risk Management department. Her primary responsibilities are ensuring that bank policies and practices adhere to law and regulation and the implementation of the Bank’s compliance programs. As CRA Officer, Tanya also administers the Community Reinvestment Act Policy and program for Fairfield County Bank.
In her free time, Tanya enjoys giving back to her community by serving on the Catholic Charities of Fairfield County Family Loan Program Board. She is also an avid musician and plays in several local bands, serving as lead vocals and guitar. Ms. Parker has three beloved daughters and currently resides in Fairfield County with her family.
